Such a lovely pub. The carvery really is super tasty and is such a treat mid-week. Being the only carvery in the area, highly recommend popping in for lunch or dinner. They do some great specials and meals too.

Great roast lunch and delicious cherry pie and custard
Came on Mother’s Day for the Sunday Carvery and probably one of the best I’ve have. Lots of side options to choose from and plenty of meat which they were not tight with for my meat loving partner! Atmosphere was really nice and friendly. There was a cue for the carvery but given the quality and price and the fact it was Mother’s Day this was not surprising, You’d cue just the same amount of time at other well known establishments and get half the flavour! Food was all really nice and fresh. Staff were lovely and even rushed off their feet were very accommodating and efficient. We needed a table to sit so a member of staff quickly cleared one up for us. Very reasonable prices for the drinks with lots of options to choose from. Will absolutely return again for another carvery, Especially on a day it’s not so busy so the que is a little smaller. All in all a really nice day out and even got a cheeky free dessert! 😊
